Sales Manager
Mexican Pacific Marketing, an award-winning dynamic boutique marketing and media agency seeking a proactive, results-oriented, organized, detail-driven candidate who is comfortable working in a virtual environment and eager to pitch Mexico travel and lifestyle tourism clients. Our company offers services in web design, eMarketing, media, travel reservations, public relations and journalism.
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing, organizing, consolidating, and implementing training programs for internal and channel salespeople, both in the Mexico and internationally. You will be expected to establish, develop, train and manage the national sales team. You will determine preferred and alternate approaches to presenting Mexican Pacific Marketing product and positioning information.
Qualifications
• At least 3 years sales training experience
• At least 3 years management experience
o Marketing
o Sales
o Budgeting
o Forecasting
o Management of a sales force
• Dynamic and superior presentation skills
• Strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques
• Understanding of elements required to present technical concepts in an effective course format and style
• Highly motivated self starter with the ability to drive projects to completion
• Ability to travel
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, course authoring tools, and Webex, GoToMyPC or similar
• Demonstrated ability to produce sales training aids
• Experience training within a channel sales model
• Experience developing and maintaining a full sales training curriculum
• Excellent sales closing rate
• Established ability to source new client channels and to cold call
• Experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
• Strong abilities in attention to detail
• Excellent team work skills
• Very high proficiency in communication tools
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and based on goals and results
• Strong knowledge of Mexican business culture
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (additional languages an asset)
• Willingness to relocate
• Ability to telecommute
• Authorized to work in Mexico
Education
Minimum bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing, in instructional development, business, human resources or other related field or equivalent in education and experience.
Compensation
Monthly base salary of 15,000 MN
Attractive quarterly commission structure based on personal sales and team sales levels
